Reel
Connecting creators across media to produce original stories.
-
A portfolio-building platform that guides creatives through the full process of audio media production—from concept to final cut. It’s designed for professionals seeking creative fulfillment, emerging artists looking to gain experience, and anyone who wants to experiment across the worlds of storytelling, sound, and graphics.
-
Reel is growing into a full creative ecosystem—part content engine, part podcast showcase, part home for original shows.
The next phase of Reel will feature:
Reel Stories Podcast — spotlighting the best Story Reels, behind-the-scenes stories, and interviews with emerging creators.
Original Series & Collaborations — expanding into fiction, documentary, and sound-driven storytelling across formats.
The Reel Network — a creative hub connecting talent, resources, and audiences, powered by community and shared opportunity.
We’re building the future of creative media—where experimentation leads to experience, and connection fuels creation.
-
Reel exists to make creative opportunity accessible.
We believe everyone should have a way to collaborate, experiment, and build real work that shows what they can do—not just what they hope to do someday.
By connecting creatives across writing, voice, sound, and storytelling, Reel turns curiosity into credits— and daydreams into finished pieces.
Our mission is to lower the barriers to entry in creative production and build a world where anyone with a story can find their people, their process, and their proof of skill.
-
Reel operates on continuous creative cycles to help get you more opportunities. Creators can claim roles anytime through our living Production Tracker; once a role is claimed, a 7-day timer starts for that deliverable, meaning creatives have 7 days to complete a task unless otherwise specified. Instances such as rushed deadlines, commissions, and high-profile branded media will offer more paid gigs that members will have the ability to apply for.

you must have your own creative tools, and confidence in the basic knowledge of your craft.the time estimated per project depends on your craft, and the length and demands of the story you are requesting to work on. it could range anywhere from a total of 5 hours to 15 hours over the course of a few weeks. choose your story wisely if you have a busy schedule.
you can absolutely request more than one story or more than one responsibility in each cycle if you have the time to do so.
Completed stories and reels will be released on all social media platforms and may be featured on our upcoming podcast.email hello@reelstories.io with questions.

Support Reel so Reel can support creatives.
Its my way of giving back because so many people helped me when i was SUPER broke, just out of school, and producing silly one-off projects in 2018 in hopes of getting my first batch of freelance work.
